Petit Cafe Westerveld

Adjacent to the entrance lobby, in addition to the post-ceremony reception areas, you will find Petit Café Westerveld. This café is unique in Europe: it was opened in 2001 as the first location at a cemetery and crematorium which is open to the public.

Everyone is welcome at the petit café. Next of kin arriving in good time for a ceremony and who perhaps wish to stay and chat after the funeral service, but also visitors to the columbaria, graves and urns. Furthermore, many people come and take refreshments at the petit café after having enjoyed a walk around the beautiful grounds.

On a weekend – when the main office is closed – you can enquire in the petit café as to where someone is buried or interred.
