Opening times
The Westerveld Cemetery & Crematorium site is accessible through the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Sundays and national holidays from 10a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Directions

By car:
A9 from Amstelveen: exit IJmuiden (A22), followed by a second exit for IJmuiden, and then head towards Driehuis, following signs for 'crematorium'.
A22 from Alkmaar: exit Velserbroek, then head towards Driehuis.

By public transport:
Bus route 75 (Connexxion) departs Haarlem railway station every 15 minutes for IJmuiden. Alight at the bus stop on Joost v.d. Vondellaan. Then cross the road and take the Nicolaas Beetslaan (follow signs).

You can walk to Westerveld from Driehuis railway station: from the station exit, head straight (across the carpark) and then take the 1st left (Wolff en Dekenlaan), following the bend left past the Ichthus Lyceum. At the end take a right along the Driehuizerkerkweg. At the crossroads, go left over the railway.
