On 2 April 2012, a delegation from one of China's largest funerary service companies, based in Shanghai, visited Westerveld. The delegation – which also included government representatives – was very positive over the extensive options offered by both the crematorium and the cemetery.
The foreign guests were treated to a tour of the entire memorial park. The cemetery, the auditoriums and of course the crematorium were all carefully inspected. The delegation also visited the special visiting rooms in Villa Westerveld.
After the tour, the Chinese guests enjoyed refreshments. They were very impressed with Westerveld's image and atmosphere and especially its service levels.
