Roy's secret....

Cremation or burial? It's not really a question that occupies one constantly. Certainly not when one is young. This is why the Royal Facultatieve Incentive Fund commissioned the creation of a cartoon strip that discusses this issue in a way that also makes the subject accessible to young people.

Roy’s geheim (Roy’s secret) – in Dutch and with drawings and text by Kees Sparreboom – tells the story of sixteen-year-old Roy and his grandad. The two have a close relationship. Such is their fondness for one another that grandad tells his grandson about a very personal decision he has made that he only confides to Roy. The secret also gets the young Roy thinking…
